The Foundation is committed to training young people, especially in the areas where it develops its activity, through several projects:
In Ávila, Spain, the Foundation develops the “Young Entrepreneurs for the Sustainability of Rural Territories” (JESTeR) programme in 17 municipalities of the Sierra de Ávila.
In addition, the Foundation has launched a project to help the professional training of young people in rural Córdoba, Spain. Thanks to this project, more than 150 students from “Forest Work” and “Environmental Conservation” carry out their internships at the “San Cebrián” farm, owned by the Foundation, located on the outskirts of Córdoba, and have the necessary material to perform them.
Due to the close links that Cáceres maintains with the origins of the founder, the Foundation biannually announces scholarships-predoctoral contracts for young people born in Cáceres who are pursuing their doctoral studies at the University of Extremadura and for young people who carry out their research work in Cáceres.
